Turning calls into interviews?
Hi guys,
So there aren't too many posts on this topic specifically, and being a non-target sophomore who's currently in the mix throwing in 300+ cold emails to anyone that may seem like they'd speak to me, I'd love some deeper advice on this topic.
I've been able to connect on the phone with several people across both IB and ER, some alums but typically more people from the non-conventional, non-target background. My emails are fairly solid and I've been able to get on the phone quite a bit, but as recruiting season ramps up and I'm starting to look into my options for next summer, I'm just curious as to how the best (and least awkward) way to transform something as simple as a phone call learning about what a person does to an actual interview is. I constantly get more people to talk to which is fantastic, but I'm not sure what the best way of going about landing that 1st round interview is.
Any advice is appreciated!
