UBS S&T vs. BarCap S&T
Hey guys, was hoping to get your thoughts on the following two offers for summer analyst positions:
2) UBS Fixed Income Sales and Trading
I'm interested in FX and know that both these banks are good for that product. Which one is a better bet long term? General thoughts on these banks?
Barcap would be my choice.
i believe equities at UBS is stronger than fixed income
can someone confirm this?
definitely Barcap.
UBS has a huge FX presence, however I got the feeling they've been scaling things back recently... correct me if I'm wrong.
UBS has seen a lot of attrition lately and that may have affected the culture and outlook for the future. However, both BarCap and UBS are strong in FX and it should come down to which people you like the most and where you feel the most comfortable. congrats on the offers.
