Umich (LSA) econ & Georgetown econ, which should I choose for graduate studies?
I am a little afraid of the cold weather and the remote area of Umich. In Umich, I will have fall semester and winter semester in one year, being free from April to August. I wonder if I am able to find internships locally during semesters or in NYC in the free time.
As for Georgetown, the place is great. I wonder how hr will view it compared with Umich(LSA).
Which one enjoys more prestige?
Thanks for help.

Michigan. No brainer, IMHO.
Unless you want to work at the World Bank/IMF; and would network extensively while in DC (at Georgetown). In which case, I would still choose Michigan.
Ann Arbor >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> DC
