I was curious if going to a school that is AACSB, (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accredited matters, even though it is a small university that is mainly unknown to many??
Thanks

NO. Absolutely not.
NO. Absolutely not. Recognition > AACSB accreditation.
According to the AACSB website "Ouachita Baptist University" is AACSB accredited...I am not about to google it, see "AACSB accredited", and then suddenly think it is academically elite.
A classic marketing pitch by
A classic marketing pitch by an unknown school to a prospective student. It might be the exact same curriculum (AACSB curriculums are sickeningly standardized), but as WCR said, recognition trumps everything in this vain and superficial business.
OP, when deciding on a school
OP, when deciding on a school you really have to look a few years out. Where do you plan on working after and in what field? eg D.E Shaw in quant, GS IBD etc. Then do a linkedin search of alumni and interns from that particular school. Take it from a non target graduate, it will make life much more easier. Also, hundreds of schools have that accreditation, it's really not unique enough to make a difference.
