Commodity Talent LLC issues White Paper on Wall Street's Commodity Conundrum
NEW YORK, NY - Jan. 14, 2009
Commodity Talent LLC, an executive search focused on commodity specialists, issued a White Paper entitled: Wall Street Commodity Wizards Turned Drops Into Gold in 2008 But Can They Repeat Their Magic This Year?
"Few on Wall Street have emerged winners from the economic wreckage of 2008 but the commodity units of many of Wall Street's largest securities firms and banks have defied the odds," said George H. Stein, CFA, managing director of Commodity Talent LLC. "Our White Paper explains how the prestidigitators of petroleum, the magicians of metals did it - and what to expect this year in terms of results as well as compensation."
The thought piece, which is available on the Thought Leadership section of the website: www.CommodityTalent.com, is part of the launch of New York-based Commodity Talent LLC, which opened its doors this year.
Managing Director George Stein, founder of Commodity Talent LLC, came from Whitney Group, a financial services recruitment company where he set up and ran the commodities search practice until the firm's demise in October. Before that, he was a prize-winning journalist with Bloomberg News, covering energy, mergers and acquisitions, Wall Street firms and insurance, and New York Bureau Chief at Platts Oilgram News.
George Stein holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
