3.98 under grad accounting, Also a CPA
Top 3% at top 30 law school
Federal clerk
I was wondering how schools would look upon my background and work experience, since one reason I got into tax law was I love businesss.

You may find some resistance to the tax side of your resume, but if you can find a way to work in any really good experience you've had in M&A transactions it may be valuable. If not, I'd try to find a job at a company, not an ibank, that's about to embark on divestitures or aquisitions, and get some experience that way, then look into transitioning over to the IB world.
Taxatorney95... if your credentials are as you pose, you have an excellent shot at a top B-School. I absolutely kid you not. Top 3% in law school and a federal clerkship are extremely challenging to come by.
