I was wondering if any BB's or top boutiques hire anyone after the fall recruiting period. I currently have an offer, but it is not in IBD. I'm networking pretty hard and have been following up with some of my dad's contacts, which he initially did not want me to do. They want to help, but it seems I am having trouble getting through the Berlin Wall aka the HR/recruiting people.
So, has anyone ever got an offer in the winter/spring before they started FT? Thanks

I just accepted a full time
I just accepted a full time IBD analyst position that starts summer 2008 last week. Sometimes people back out on previously accepted offers and spots open up. I got lucky with a contact and asking at the right time.
With some luck it can happen
Off-cycle hiring happens occasionally. Your best bet will be to reach out into your network and ask around. This also happens when an analyst quits.
