It'd be great to get a WSO meetup planned in Chicago soon. What are some ideas for where to hold a meetup/happy hour? (on either Wed Nov 28th, Thur the 29th, or the following week)
Criteria:
Easy access for those coming from financial district
Not too crowded / loud around 7-9PM on Wednesday night (or Thursday if we choose this day)
Has a good meeting area / table / bar area that can accommodate 5-10 people
+ if they have a happy hour going on, good drinks, good service
+ if it is an all-ages place so some college students can attend as well
Par Bar at Randolph and Franklin? It's the newly revamped Jimmy Fig's... new food menu, drink specials, plenty of space and not too overly crowded yet around those times...
I second Par Bar for the same reasons.
Ceres Bar near the Board of Trade.. best drinks but can get crowded. There are large tables available, if those can be booked it would workout if not it will be too busy.
I like Ceres too. The happy hours are solid and when I go there with my friends who are traders it's a blast. I'm up for meeting up anywhere though.
Can we do it after the CFA?

For an all ages place we could do Piece Pizza. If the group is big enough they have a large private section we can chill in.

great idea yes we're going to get an email list going for each city plus there will be plenty of promo on the homepage etc. Event will be at Moe's Cantina either on Dec 5th or 6th
