IKOS: Round 2

I wrote a while back about the IKOS fallout as yet another example of why wealth and marriage don’t mix. The reality, however, is undeniably altogether different. Relationships of any and every sort are a compromise and a partnership. I for one, however, am increasingly more in favor of inequality in relationships where a great deal of money is involved. Though it may not be fair, it would likely help avoid messes like these...

In the latest sleazy drip from the leaky sore that the British press have dubbed The War of the Roses. We are no learning that spy analyst Vincent Pfister downloaded complex algorithms developed by IKOS crucial to their money management and trading strategies.

To make matters worse, he allegedly took the codes back to husband of IKOS boss Elena Ambrosiadou, QPEWUPEFI who left the fund in 2004. The couple have sued each other an unreal 58 times since then and continue to be a reminder of why money can not only not buy happiness, but can often times ensure misery.

I don’t know how this sordid mess can end well. When you have two rich and powerful people engaged in a high profile legal and financial battle, many individuals and businesses benefit from it. It is in almost nobody’s interest to see this monkey shit flinging contest come to an end. In fact, for both the large industry of people who enable the wealthy to act like idiots and the millions of yellow journalism groupies around the globe, this sort of mess is just what the doctor ordered.

I can’t possibly comment on this story without scratching my head. I also want to point out that even though I usually take the man’s side in divorce wars this time there’s no clear cut good/bad guy/girl.

It takes two to tango and these two really deserve each other. Can any of you guys recall seeing something this messy and nasty on such a profound level? I have had some bad breakups myself, but I really can’t think of any situation where the fallout was so nuclear and so long lasting.
