The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Phone Interview
Interview
I applied online with a resume drop, and they contacted me for an initial phone call. I talked to an analyst for around 10 minutes (purely behavioral), before they transferred me to a VP and associate. I was then contacted by an analyst 2 months later with a phone call that was almost entirely behavioral. Overall, a 2-3 month process with no final offer.

Interview Questions
First I started with an analyst for 10 minutes (purely behavioral). Then I was transferred to a VP and associate. These guys started asking technical questions, which were easy at first but climbed in difficulty.

They went in depth on Accounting, asking about how changes in depreciation affect all three statements, how all 3 of them are connected, and what entries are effected when you buy a piece of equipment with bad debts expense write-off. I got most of these right, except the 3rd one, which I had absolutely no clue how to answer.

They also asked how to value a company, the process of selling a company to a strategic acquirer (missed this one), and how to determine accretion/dilution.

Finally, a few months later, another analyst had one more call with me (almost entirely behavioral). This was in early April. I ended up not getting an offer.

Interview
Applied online and got an email to set up a 1 on 1 interview. Questions were mostly technical about valuation and M&A processes, documents, etc. Passed that round and got a second interview with the associate that was also mostly technical with kind of the same questions and a couple motivational questions. No behavioral questions.
Interview Questions
Depreciation questions. How do you value a private company? Tell me about the last deal you followed/liked. Why?
