1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied OCR and got a 1-on-1 interview. Very disorganized from the start. Had a cocktail reception with some bankers to get to know candidates a little better. Invited to the superday the following day. Typical superday, involved reception, dinner, and went out for drinks with analysts. Next morning, had 7 1-on-1 interviews with VPs, MDs, Associates, Directors. Very behavioral-based.
Overall, STRH had an air of trying to prove itself in the eyes of the candidates. Every interview consisted of explaining why STRH is comparable to BBs and felt like they wanted to feel good about themselves at every possible moment. Talking to some of the analysts showed that they are not the brightest of the bunch so it's basically a crapshoot.
