The dude earlier is justified in wanting some clarifications, an "investing role", like what the hell does that mean? A portfolio manager (although quite unlikely you'll be a PM at 27 at a LO) will be paid completely differently to an Analyst who may have joined the firm at the exact same time. The question makes sense but can vary quite drastically from how blasé you are with your question. I'll try to answer it as accurately as possible anyways, let's say you are an Analyst in a CLO team at my firm I'd say by 28 you can be clearing 200K. 100k base + 100k bonus (London based). Maybe more for Equities however I am unsure, likely more in our Private funds as you can participate in Carry. Now you see what I mean when I say it can vary soo drastically without providing specifics in what you're looking for.
