Investment Finance to Strategy Finance

Hi all,

I was offered a job at Well Fargo as an Investment Associate. Wanted to know what the general consensus is about their investment management teams?

Education/Work Experience:

  • Non-Target but top school, double major in fin & econ, 3.9 GPA from honors college

  • 2 years in consulting, and 2 internships in investment mgmt

Base Salary 100k+

I always thought I wanted to be in asset management or inv management, but recently im thinking about shifting my career towards corporate finance/finance strategy/corp dev. DO you think taking this job would impact my exit opps? Does wells am have a good rep?

THanks!
