Schroders graduate program
Anyone has any idea what to expect? It's a 2 yrs rotation program. Do they promote their graduate employees? If yes, does anyone have any idea what to expect in terms of comp after promotion? And are there chances to lateral to other LO AM's?
I declined offers from banking and wealth management because AM is where I've always wanted to be, despite the significantly lower salary. Hoping this would be less of an issue forward
Yo?
Just did the Real estate AM video interview do you know what the pay is?
For the graduate program it's somewhere between £37k-40k base. I got a DM from someone saying after that it gets to +£90k all in. I'm still waiting for someone to verify though
Is this UK let me ask a friend who is a trainee
These figures are roughly correct to the point you can follow this, dude stop thinking about comp so much, you’ve got your offer, sit back, relax and try to learn as much as you can once you hit the desk!
Got it, thanks! Do you anything about how often they promote trainees?
This is the buyside not an Investment Bank. You get promoted if you’re good, not because it’s your ‘time’. If the firm can’t see you consistently bettering their PnL they’ll let you go, at that point comp and everything becomes a murky blur
Just get into the industry, get a couple of years experience and worry about lateralling later.
