Where Wall Street Gets Drunk

I must have a one-track mind this week, what with yesterday's post on banker chicks getting high and today's post on the best banker bars in New York, but maybe it's just the holiday season. Anyway, Clusterstock did a slick piece on the best bars for monkeys to get drunk and swing from the chandeliers and I was wondering which of these is most popular with WSO readers.

Bars that made the cut included Beckett's, Diablo Royale (for the Goldmanites), the Dubliner, and of course Rosie O'Grady's. So, in these days of reduced deal flow and (hopefully) more opportunity for happy hour, which dive gets the most business? And which one is best for up-market talent? Does any bar have a Dollar Drink Night anymore???

I promise we'll get back to the serious stuff tomorrow, but given a choice between talking about favorite bars or pondering the ramifications of Neel Kashkari going (back) to work for PIMCO, you can see which I consider more deserving of discussion.

Where is everyone spending New Years?
