Booz Allen or Accenture

Undergrad Student..graduating in May. got two offers..pay are both the same. except benifits for BAH are better as far as retirement plan.
Cant decide between the two
Both are for Strategy and Org Practice
BAH will be Defense Clients
Accenture will be with Life Sciences

What is better? I am open to any industry.. I don't mind travel.

Is Commercial Consulting looked better upon than govt?
Which has more prestige?
Firm Cultures?
Is it easy to go from federal to commercial or vice versa..or does it not matter?

Where is it easier for layoffs?

BAH does not do commercial..they will start to soon..will it be hard or competitive for me to get into the commercial side anytime soon?

What looks better for MBA applicants?

In Europe I'd definitely go for BAH. Heard good things about culture, they are not MBB but more prestigious than ACC which always has this IT image around here.

I'm already surprised that you will directly get fixed on an industry - is that standard practice in the US? Around here it's normal to work on different projects when you come out of undergrad. So I'd say lateraling to other business areas should be doable.

Unfortunately have no clue about their reputation in the two respective fields but would also encourage you to ask yourself in which industry you'd feel more comfortable working for a longer period.
