Deloitte technology consulting for experienced
Several of the positions I see are for Systems Integration Analysts, Functional Analysts, etc. If an experienced person were to get these jobs, would this put them in the same "BTA" track program as those who went straight to Deloitte out of college in the BTA program? Would these positions correlate to the same engagements as those in the BTA program? Same promotion potential and whatnot?
Deloitte Consulting's BA/BTA program is only for people straight out of undergrad. You'd probably come in at the "Consultant," level which is between a BA/BTA and a Senior Consultant. Other than that, you're likely to get staffed on the same projects.
Do these type of hires still get to go to Deloitte U? I've heard it's great for networking within the company.
Deloitte U isn't exclusive for undergrads/new hires. Most of the firm's continuing education and conferences take place at DU, so chances are you will get to go there at some point.
Oh understood. What I mean is that I have heard new hires into the BTA program go into a 2-4 week program for training that not only introduces them to part of the job tasks, but also has numerous networking activities with senior employees but also other new BTA's/employees from across the country. That sounds like a really good training activity and I'm just curious if experienced hires go through this weeks-long bootcamp type activity.
Thanks for the help!
