Healthcare Consulting: Evolent vs. Advisory Board

Trying to decide between offers from Evolent and Advisory Board, any thoughts? I have a background in global health research and strategy, and am hoping to some day make my way in to either Healthcare PE or possibly Healthcare Litigation / Global Health Policy.

Advisory Board has the brand name and the structured career path, but Evolent is newer, more strategy focused, and would possibly provide for quicker career progression/greater learning experience.

Thoughts?

iRX:

Evolent is part owned by ABC, although I believe UPMC has a controlling stake. I would take Evolent - but it's hard to say because you haven't mentioned anything about the position at each company, i.e. corp dev at evolent > FP&A at ABC. ya digg?

Thanks for the reply -- any specific reason why you'd choose Evolent? As for positions - at Evolent I'd be heading up a brand new role around Strategy and Quality Assurance (new role = good position for making a name for myself in a growing company), whereas with ABC I'll be coming in as a Senior Analyst in Research & Insights (good general consulting role).

Still go with Evolent?
