Moving FAANG Finance & Strategy to MBB?

Wanted to get thoughts on this move. Currently in the rotation program at one of FAANG's more sought-after programs and have heard people often pivot to MBB from this spot. Love what I do currently but always enjoyed consulting work overall.

Once the market picks back up, I was considering lateralling. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Yeah, I've heard the word down the vine about those layoffs. I don't intend to jump ship in the coming months but rather a year to a year and a half. Think things should ease out after 2024 in terms of regular hiring.
