Pivot from IB to MBB?

Currently a second-year analyst in banking and after having conversations with some people on the consulting-side, I'd rather pivot to MBB than go to PE. Would it be possible to interview for MBB positions without having to get an MBA? Wouldn't mind starting again at the bottom of the totem-pole. For context, I work at a BB/EB and graduated from HYPSM.

The move can definitely be done. McKinsey/BCG in particular take some experienced candidates every year with plenty coming from FO roles in finance. You mainly need to network to get your foot in the door which ideally shouldn't be a problem coming from your school. While the consulting firms seems to be weathering the storm mostly ok, I would assume lateral hiring for candidates like yourself is down in comparison to pre-covid. So maybe get a feel for the hiring environment and see if it might be better to go to an M7 and come in as an associate.
