Are Allen Edmonds Verona Italian loafers too flashy to wear as an analyst?
Are black Allen Edmonds Verona Italian loafers too flashy to wear as a 2nd year Sales & Trading analyst for office wear? (my team is is very laid back and doesn't wear anything fancy like watches) What about to client meetings?
I personally think theyre fine because Gamos and Gucci are the flashier sleds. Verona's are just nice bit loafers (I wear them). However, I'm sure someone will disagree with me. People in your office who would notice or care will probably respect the decision due to the shoes' quality, rather than question it as some form of fashion statement.
sound appropriate, given your office setting
I wouldn't consider them flashy, just high quality
They aren't flashy but looking at the products they offer, spending $300+ on shoes as an analyst I think is a bit much. They have some models under $200 so I don't know which specific model you were looking at but I think you can be a bit more conservative.
