the black ones are fine. no one really cares as long as they're unassuming and not square toed
People put way to much thought into this shit... Can't speak to the quality of H&M shoes but the appearance is fine. As for the color, I'd stick to black unless the dress code where you'll be working is business casual
I'd be a little weary of H&M shoes, I had a pair of more casual ones that fell apart pretty quickly.
H&M shoes historically don't hold up well at all. That would be my only complaint about these.
I'd say the odds of H&M shoes even lasting the entire summer for you are pretty slim, especially if you're working 12+ hour days.
Stylistically, though? The black ones are fine (the brown look very cheap; it's much easier to notice leather quality on non-black shoes).
They are fine. Really don't have to worry too much about this stuff as long as you are within the realm of "normal" (i.e. no clown shoes). I would go with black as you will probably wear those a lot more.
You will probably throw those out halfway into the internship. Go with AE Park Aves.
My first summer interning, when I had no idea what I was doing, I wore a pair of black dockers captoe shoes. They were around $40 and did last me the whole the summer. No need to spend the money you don't have on shoes right now. Once you get the FT offer and the sign on bonus you can update your wardrobe.

Those are fine. No need to spend lots on shoes as an intern
Banana Republic Colt Oxford dress shoes are so nice and they usually have sales on them
You can find much better shoes for $30 more at DSW or MJM shoes. Go check there.
those are completely fine for the duration of your summer internship. I would invest in a quality pair once you get a FT offer.
They don't look bad, but I don't think they'll last more than 6 to a year. If its just for the internship, go for it.
Honestly, don't listen to the posters above who keep telling you to buy Park Avs. For a summer analyst role, these are more than fine. And unless you plan on running marathons in these, they'll hold up just fine over the summer.
I had a pair of Rockport shoes that I bought for $25 in high school that I used for six years, including during my summer analyst role. And guess what? They were fine. No one noticed or cared. I have a pair of Park Avs now, and guess what? They're fine, too, and no one has noticed that I'm wearing those now, either. Look, I'm not denying that the latter shoe is better constructed, or will retain its quality longer - of course it will. But honestly, as a summer analyst (unless you have a lot of parental help/tons of prior money) spending $350+ on a pair of dress shoes is pretty absurd. You could buy like 2 decent suits with that money, or 8 shirts, or 8 ties... you get my point.
Of course, if you have the money and don't mind spending a fairly large amount of money on one pair of shoes, Park Avs are a great choice. I'm just saying don't believe people on here who have the Park Ave/$350+ shoes or bust mentality.
Also, Johnston and Murphy's Melton Oxfords are a great mid-tier shoe to buy. You can generally get it for $100-175.
Completely agree about the J&M or Rockport. No one will notice/care what brand you're wearing.
As an Armenian, I prefer one brand that represents my culture - Areni 1. It's elegant and comfortable and also pretty unique, I must say. I wear the black model - https://areni1.store/product/premier-high-top-black/.
Black shoes are love. They are so just awesome.
