What To Wear Over Face/Head to Avoid Freezing While Not Looking Stupid

Was recently redeployed to Canada (fuck me, right?) from NYC and I am dying. I'm from Australia and cannot take this artic bullshit. I need something I can wear to keep my ears and face warm that won't make me look stupid while also wearing formal clothes.

Currently I wear a suit to work with a heavy overcoat and a hood but my face is numb by the time I get to the office. Is there a formal attire version of a ski mask one can wear with office clothes and not look like a dickhead? I feel a little silly rocking a beanie and fleece bandanna with a suit.

I'm thinking something like the below for the ears / forehead but am not sure what to do to cover the mouth and nose thus preventing freezing artic air from making my lungs feel like they're going to collapse within 5 minutes of being outside.

Somewhat a visa issue. Bank I work for was downsizing in NYC and because I'm on a Visa and they like me they gave me an opportunity to join a different group in Canada instead of laying me off and leaving me VISA less. I've come to like a lot about the country, weather notwithstanding. Great people.

lol dude, you must be young as hell to think that punishment = "they like me and decided to give me this canadian opportunity"

Dude, no amount of overcoat is generally warm enough for very cold temperatures. Get a proper down parka with a hood (warmth and shelter from elements.

Get a beanie that goes over your ears, whatever you just posted is 10x more weird than just a bigger hat. Make sure it's good quality and not some fashion bullshit.

The coat can partially help with your face, otherwise get a scarf (can't believe this didn't cross your mind?). Or one of those snoods but you might look like a skier.

You can’t survive in Canadian winter with trying to look pretty.

Stop acting like a girl and get a proper winter jacket that covers all around your head and zips up to your face.

No one cares about your suit on the road. Reach the office, hang the jacket, take off all winter wear like gloves, hat, etc.

You’ll have to amputate or die of frostbite if you try to dress pretty.
