Do fund managers like old Soros and Burry still exist?
It seems like all funds are basically just long only or a MM. Are there any funds/fund-managers that get more “creative”? They don’t have to be as glamorous or prestigious but I’m looking for some that go beyond looking at, for example, only biotech stocks. From my understanding macro funds are basically just FX at this point as well. I’ve always wanted to work for a fund that takes a more holistic and out of the box approach. Does that even exist?
