Engineer at a Hedge Fund
Hello,
I'm new to this site and to the financial space -- I've been working for the past few years as an engineer at a large tech company and am thinking about making the jump to hedge funds and technology-driven algorithmic trading. I wanted to ask what life is like for an engineer at a hedge fund, how compensation works, things to look out for etc. The reason I posted this is because there is a lot of info on this site about life for analysts but I haven't seen a whole lot about the engineering side of the house.
Thanks
