Very low, not a lot seats at all.

Not too difficult to get looks from good MMs after you've worked at a fund for a little while though (assuming its relatively well-known in the industry).

Also, I don't mean to be rude, but asking a question like this also suggests your odds are quite low. These funds care much less about prior experience, its not like PE/IB where if you work at X you'll find a seat at Y waiting for you. 

A lot of college kids intern at LOs and SMs and don't get MM SA offers over STEM kids w 0 XP. The way these funds hire undergrads is very specific, the way they trade is also quite different to SMs which can impact how you talk to the PMs in interviews.

 

Thanks for your thoughts. My question was more about what the odds are of landing a FT offer without doing the internship, and wasn’t sure if the prior experience helps at all. However I recognize that recruiting is not really comparable to other types of firms where IB/PE is a prerequisite
