West Face is defunct
West Face is done - no one else in the HF space aside from the ones you listed. Space is weak in Canada
Actually Waratah is pretty cool too
What about turtle creek?
Tons of well known asset managers (some that also do long/ short): RBC PH&N, Burgundy, Leith Wheeler, CC&L to name a few.

Absolutely dead scene other than the small ones listed here. Everyone else basically operates like a mutual fund.
Stonepine in Montreal is cool
ONEX has a Long/Short Special Situations strategy under their Gluskin Sheff fund
does this still exist? i thought gluskin is now defunct
Still exists, but is under Onex Credit
What about Maple Rock?
Bump.
There's also K2 and Waratah
Anyone know what comp is like, especially at Waratah?
