Approaching IB Recruiting When Banks Have Different Timelines?

How should one go about IB recruiting with all the different timelines at different banks?

For instance many banks are starting soon/have started, but the likes of GS and JPM supposedly aren't recruiting for SA 202 until this coming fall. With most offers having a deadline of ~2 weeks, how can one recruit at GS or JPM while also taking part in the accelerated timeline of most other banks?

It seems like if you wanted to recruit at GS or JPM you'd basically have to risk it all and only recruit with them while letting every other bank fill its SA class up.
