Do certain groups (not factoring in reputation) place better into certain PE roles? It makes sense that a healthcare coverage group would place well into Healthcare-focused PE firms, but does it matter if you're recruiting for a general PE role?
I feel like leveraged finance or M&A product groups would have an edge for recruiting. Is this true or is it a non-factor?
