Drug test AFTER background check?
Hi everyone,
I recently accepted an offer at a BB in IB (full time not internship). I received notice that I passed the background check a week ago and the email said that I have completed all the necessary steps before starting. I haven’t smoked weed in almost 2 months now while recruiting/interviewing but I am wondering how common it is to get testing AFTER passing all the “pre-hiring” stuff. My previous bank never drug tested me so I do not have context for this. And yes, I understand erring on the side of caution but I don’t know if I’m being irrational here.
FWIW - if anyone has context on this at the following banks it would be good to hear:
