Find it hard to close

I've been networking pretty aggressively, been talking to 4-5 bankers a week since summer started, went down to NY to meet some guys in person and I have a pretty solid list of guys. Problem is, I'm at a non-target and I don't have any formal resume drops. Whats the best way to get these guys to look at my resume and send it in? Should I coyly ask them to take a look and see what they think? Should I just ask them to forward it to HR? Should I just apply online and ask them to flag it? Whats the best way to handle it?

Have you been asking the bankers you're talking to if you can show them your resume? Or just attach it after the first correspondence?

When you're talking to them, always end with a request that will benefit you. Make your convo's more casual and they will likely offer to drop your rez. Email them asking specifically about their firm (this way they know you're interested in their firm not just IB). Or be blunt and say "hey would you mind looking over my resume?" Don't be scared to ask how you can position yourself for SA at their firm.
