Normal For First Interview To Be With Head MD? (Off Cycle)

I'm currently set up to have my first interview (after screening with recruiter) at a MM investment bank with the lead MD of the bank and another one with a director and I'm a bit worried.

Is this normal for a first interview? It's an off cycle hiring opportunity I got through another MD at the same bank. I am moving from a big 4 audit so I really have no banking experience. Can anyone shed some light on what to expect from this interview? Mostly behavioral based?

I've interviewed in a lot of different formats, but yeah I've interviewed with the group head of a coverage group before. It's not going to be different from a normal interview; however, I have noticed there are two types of MDs in interviews. The first is the stereotypical hardo that will barrage you with mental math and complex valuation questions. The other is a chiller who likes to reminisce about their college days while you walk them through your resume. I hope you get the latter.
