Putting 'Wall Street Prep' on resume before completion?

I recently purchased the Wall Street Prep package and plan on putting it in my resume. However, i'm not sure how long it typically takes to complete and I want to have it on my resume right away for recruiting season.

I go to a target school but my resume is so-so and my GPA is nothing special either, so I need something that will set me apart to get me an interview. I want to get my info out to recruiters as soon as possible and try to get a position locked up. I'm confident i'll do well with interviewing, but having a relatively weak resume makes it more difficult just to get those interviews.

Would it be legitimate to put this on my resume and point out that I am currently taking the course but have not yet completed it? Any other advice would be appreciated as well.

Thanks,

ARD

I'm assuming this is for SA... just put it on there. The interviews don't happen for at least another month, possibly two (unless you're going abroad). You should have easily completed the program by this time.

Yea it's for SA, forgot to say that. Interviews are Jan-Feb but I am trying to make contacts right now to make sure I am in a good position come interviews. I'm also hoping to set up some interviews/opportunities outside of our career services office.

Nobody is going to ask you technicals or question your resume during the networking/informational interviewing part of the process. You just need to make sure that you can defend everything on your resume during the actual interview. This means that you need to be able to walk through valuations, talk about basic financial concepts, etc. given that you are putting this course on your resume. It really doesn't matter much.

Thanks for the info.

Is there a ballpark time that the course is usually completed in? I am done with school this Wed and have an entire month off, so i'll have plenty of time to devote to it. Just looking for rough figures.
