Transitioning from Corporate Banking to Investment Banking

Hi guys, recently graduated from West Coast school think one of the UCs. I have a job offer in corporate banking in SF but I ideally want to be doing IB. I was late to summer analyst recruiting period so missed out on a summer internship and ended up with nothing during full-time recruiting, partially due to being an international student.

I am still pestering my network of IB contacts in the hope someone drops out between now and September, however at this point I'm resigned to beginning my career in Corporate Banking.

I've heard of people moving from Corporate to Investment Banking, however I wanted to know if anyone here has done it and if they have any advice for me to do it?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
