HELP

Hi everyone! I’m an international student (senior) studying economics at NYU

i have a unique resume however I am doubtful that it would convince the HR people at well known banks. Here is some of my background:
1) Due to family circumstances I was forced to start working early. As a result I gained a lot of experience in sports management business and fashion industry. In both fields, i was given a lot of responsibilities right away and eventually took on a strategic role. Both businesses successfully recovered from almost hopeless situations.

2) due to coronavirus I did not get an internship for the summer. However I was able to got an internship in asset management in Russia for this fall. I’m currently both studying and getting experience there.

3) I had a pretty successful basketball career. Was a capitan and a starter at IMG, Russian National team, NYU.

4) my GPA is not great. It’s 3.1. However the reason it is so low is that I was forced to study and work at the same time during junior year.
5) Since NYU is expensive, I had to find a way to make it cheaper. So i decided to spend my first two years of school at a junior college because they gave me a full Athletic scholarship. Of course when calculating my GPA the grades from junior college don’t count.

I assume not many people have weird profiles like mine but I hope someone can give me some helpful advice on what to do in order to land an IB job at a well known bank.

PS I thought that it could be a good idea to take classes in both January semester and spring but graduate in fall. This way I would be considered a senior next year and I will be able to have a better GPA by then.

Another option i considered was an off cycle internship.
