How to maneuver FT recruiting

To be brief…

Ive recently accepted a corporate development & strat summer analyst position at a tech company for 2022 summer (f500 if it matters). While grateful coming from a legit no name school, I believe it’s still best for me to at least start in banking.

I’ve had a couple other internships at IB/PE shops so I have an idea of how to frame my story. However, I’ve so far really liked the CD team and the pay will be pretty good. So, I really don’t feel like leaving unless I get at least get a mid bb. Considering the accepted role, I plan on mainly focusing on tech groups.

was wondering what odds looked, is this a realistic expectation? Even assuming FT Recruiting isn’t going to be as strong since capital markets are slowing. Fuck, I’m high enough to try and shoot for gs tmt.
