How to not get lost in the sauce?
Hi there,
The world of finance is huge and I'm having trouble narrowing down what specific industry I want to go into. For example, hedge funds are my goal but do I pursue quant, research, trader, PM? If anyone can provide clarification that would be great as I have many questions and hope to learn much from the community.
Thanks for reading

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...
Why is going to a hedge fund your goal? The framing of your question makes it seem like you don't know what they do all day. All of these roles are extremely different.
An analogous statement would be me saying I want to work at McDonalds, but do I pursue manager, fry cook, drive-thru attendant, cashier, or owner?
Where did you intern? What is your major? Are you at a target?
Non-target, Business admin major, no internships. Trade my own account, take financial modeling/python courses online, and network a lot.
