Would minoring in CS help me break into a corporate Tech Job?

I'm hoping to one day be able to break into a Corporate Job at a tech company of some sort (Dell, Oracle, Apple, or maybe SpaceX even though I don't think most people consider that tech). I will be attending Texas A&M for economics in the fall. I did not receive admission into Mays, which is why I'm studying econ and not finance. Because I have so many college credits already, I'll only be able to transfer in if they waive their 60 credit max rule (seems possible since all of my credits are Dual-enrollment, but not a guarantee).

Anyway, I was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on whether or not minoring in Computer Science would give me a better shot at a job in one of these companies or ones like it? I'm hoping to land a corp dev/strategy or maybe FP&A but I'm also not super picky I just think it would be cool to work for one of these companies. I am also not super informed on this side of finance as I've spent the last few months researching IBD, so any random tidbits of info are much appreciated.
