Exchange semester
I'm an undergraduate finance student at Bocconi university with a perfect GPA but no internships or relevant extracurricular activities. Next year I'll spend a semester on exchange in the US, and I'm considering either Wharton or the University of Southern California. I know that the former is way better academically, but I'm sure I'd have a GREAT time at USC.
My question is: do employers and masters program recruiters actually care about where you spend the exchange? I've talked to a few junior and VP level Investment bankers, and they've all told me that I should simply go where I'd have more fun.
Thank you all in advance.
P.s. I want to work in investment banking.
