Energy vs. Real Estate

In your opinion, what has a better outlook for the next 10-20 years and why? A lot of changing aspects to the energy industry with the renewables shake up but still a needed industry. Real estate is maybe subject to more seasonality, but also seems to always be needed. Looking to hear some thoughts and opinions

Real Estate and Energy are 2 sectors that are never going away... I personally would argue for RE because it will always be more tax efficient (asides from total green energy), less regulation, and the government will probably play a large role in energy. To me it is more interesting than dealing with solar panels all day as well. Both are shifting massively, and they are 2 "value" industries that will be solid and less volatile
