What is the best bank for bank accounts?
Incoming A1 at IB in London and need to figure out what bank I want to be with. What is the best bank in London to be with for current account, savings etc? Also would be great to hear how much I should put towards investing and who I should invest with?
If your IB has a retail offering, ask for their rates and conditions for employees. It might work in your favor.
Lloyds is good for current accounts.
IG is good for trading.
for casual spend/everyday items I would recommend Monzo (debit)
for FX or travel, Revolut is interesting
I am just evaluating CHASE UK/JPM - let's say.. very new and niche, app is crude, card stopped working a few times.
