Worth Seeing Hamilton with the current cast?

Huge fan of Hamilton. When I was a freshman in high school, my parents and I were going to see it with the original cast, but I thought musicals were the stupidest shit ever back then so I refused to go, and they took someone else instead. Now, 6 years later, I really love the show and regret refusing seeing it back then. I suppose regardless, I wouldn't have appreciated it then anyway even if I went.
I was wondering if any of you have seen the current Broadway cast and if it's worth seeing it with them. I love the original version so much, and I feel like it's wrong in a sense to see it without them, like I'm cheating on my GF.

My English professor said that that was stupid, and I should just go see it because that's what Broadway is. I countered by saying some shit like you wouldn't go watch Star Wars with a different cast. And he said musicals are different.

I guess I mean I am not familiar with plays. Like my example was with a movie, and people would hate a popular move reboot with a new cast; like what if they made an new Iron Man movie with the same plot/dialogue but with Tom Cruise instead of RDJ? Would be dumb af. I just got the Amex platinum a few months back and have a deposit with them to book good seats immediately if the OG cast ever gets back together.
