Entrepreneurship - What if I fail?
Hi Monkeys,
First Year IBD analyst in a sector coverage team who’s looking to leave after 1-2 years to create my own start-up.
My question is, assume it doesn’t work out and I throw in the towel after 1-3 years and I want to move back to a more “corporate” job like VC, Consulting, PE … how much does the operational experience I gained outweigh the fact that I “failed”.
Now how does it change if I sold the start-up but not for crazy money i.e. 100k – 5m
How do I move back into a more secure job preferably VC, MM PE or Tier 2 Consulting, is it going to be tough or will the experience I gained be looked on v. favourably?
