Equipment Financing Exit Opportunities?

Good Evening/Morning Monkeys,

So yesterday I had an interview for an equipment finance credit analyst position at a MM bank. The interviewers were blown away by my background (Corp Banking and Credit Ratings). At the current moment I'm not totally sold on the role even though I'm out a job and the role is somewhat interesting. My main fear is that after sticking it out on this role for a year, I get pigeonhole on this niche type of banking and I can no longer transition in other type of banking finance role. I know internally the most common move would be to the Middle Market C&I group and ABL, but I have already done that during my time as a Corp Banker and I'm just really trying to get into IB in the future. Is there any other type of exit opportunities for this role. I'm okay financially at the moment even though I'm unemployed, but I definitely want to make sure my next role positions me closer to IBD either pre-MBA or post-MBA. If anybody could provide some insights I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.!!

Might be able to put together a story for a HF (I know it’s not IB) like Castlelake that invests in aviation assets or physical equipment assets. Just shooting from the hip here.
