What should I do this summer - Graduating senior who will be attending grad school

I'm a graduating senior (math major) who'll be attending grad school (1-year MS program in operations research) in the Fall. I have absolutely nothing lined up for the summer. I realize that recruiting season is over.

Is there anywhere that's still hiring? Any suggestions on what I should do? I'd love to just travel the world and celebrate my last free summer, but unfortunately I'm broke. Unless I can find something better, I'll just end up spending the summer working some bs retail job.

Aside from getting an actual internship, one idea that crossed my mind was to teach English abroad for the summer. Anyone know if that's possible or know of any programs that offer that opportunity? Even if I got sent to some country like the Congo, I'm sure I'd have a hell of an experience compared to working retail at home.

I'd definitely advise against the DRC. I'm sure you can find an overseas opportunity, but you gotta get on that shit now. You could also look into working for an NGO overseas that focuses on business. Just start emailing people/researching who has those types of opportunities.
