Insights into seniors pay

Hi folks,

I am currently a sector analyst and am deciding what to do next.

I am open to different roles but would like your insights on the prospect and comps of each role in long term.

In descending order, which group of seniors earn the most on average. (appreciate actual range if possible)

  • BB IB sector coverage

  • Megafunds

  • MM buyout

  • Co-investments/secondaries

  • Primary/ FoF

  • Growth equity

  • Private debt (mix of direct lending and special sits)

  • Corporate development

  • Consulting

In addition, do you think there's strong correlation btw hours and comps?

Thanks guys

Seems like a basic analyst exercise that you can do yourself
