Insights into seniors pay
Hi folks,
I am currently a sector analyst and am deciding what to do next.
I am open to different roles but would like your insights on the prospect and comps of each role in long term.
In descending order, which group of seniors earn the most on average. (appreciate actual range if possible)
- BB IB sector coverage
- MM buyout
- Co-investments/secondaries
- Primary/ FoF
- Private debt (mix of direct lending and special sits)
- Corporate development
- Consulting
In addition, do you think there's strong correlation btw hours and comps?
Thanks guys
also want to know
Seems like a basic analyst exercise that you can do yourself
Idk I’ll bite
MF
MM
BB
GE
Private Debt
Coinvest
FoF
Corp Dev is weird, depends on F500, pe owned, or startup and stock will be a big portion. Would maybe put it between private debt and coinvest.
I don’t know what consultants make
Is this blank for anyone else?
Would probably put GE above BB due to carry at the senior level
