Interview Prep Advice: IC Mock Presentation & Full LBO Build

Hi fellow monkeys,

I'm currently in the interview process with an MM fund and have been tasked with prepping a ~one-hour IC mock presentation and building a full LBO model from scratch (I'll have a few days to prepare).

I'd greatly appreciate any guidance based on your experiences on the following:

  • Structuring IC Deck: Tips on structure, key points, and pitfalls to avoid. How many pages do you recommend? Assuming I won't use my current employer's computer, does anyone know where I can find a proper PPT format to use on my personal computer?
  • LBO Resources: Templates, case studies, anything helpful. I assume I should aim for a full 3-statement LBO model?
  • Personal Experiences / Insights: If you've been through this or have relevant experience, I'd love to hear any insights you might have.

Thanks a bunch in advance for your help!

Best,
