Where to check which PE funds are fundraising?
Hey everyone,
Are there certain places where people go to see which funds are currently fundraising for a new fund? Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance.

Bump, I’m not aware of any definitive database but curious if others know.
My imperfect proxy was always to look at average time between funds in the past and how old the current fund is... you can usually ballpark where they are in their cycle.
Private Equity International runs a database called "Funds in Market" that provides info on the funds being raised by private equity managers, with target size and geographic focus. It is a paid database though, with only a few data points available for free but perhaps that might suffice.

Preqin, Stepstone, Cobalt / Hamilton Lane, etc. are all good resources.
