A.CRE worth it?

I’ve seen a few threads on it but was hoping to gather some more information on it. I was thinking about doing the cheapest option.

Is it worth it? How much did it increase your skill sets?

I’ve done some of the REFM but didn’t really like the content so was hoping this would be different.

Would appreciate any anecdotal experience with the course and what you got from it. It’s kinda expensive so would greatly appreciate it!

i did a few of those but found it not super applicable. well not that it wasn’t but the formatting was less case study and task oriented. a.cre i thought was supposed to instruct from the perspective of how a job would actually be with tests and stuff along the way. seems like a better way to learn and would be more helpful in a job

Yes. The cheapest option was 599 I believe. Both Spencer and Michael are talented. I especially enjoyed the latters development/construction modeling. My only complaints would be the 2nd gen base rent modeling was difficult to understand. Also, they like to use boolean logic which would return true or false (1 or 0) I prefer IF statements

Personally, I prefer REFM to all others. Good luck!

dumbassmonkey:

How long’s A.CRE case study meant to be? It took me a a good few hours to complete…. Feeling like shit

Looking for peoples input on timing as well

Has anyone done the specialized endorsements beyond the core package? Curious if any of them are worth it

Best online course to take on RE modelling? BIWS vs. REFM vs A.CRE? Curious for everyone's thoughts.

I just finished the 4th section of the advanced accelerator of A.CRE and am enjoying it so far. Has definitely helped me with my modeling skills. They give good information and show you how to model in many different ways. Would recommend.
